Now is the time for the Bay Area to come together to help our neighbors in need.

Band Together to Help North Bay Fire Recovery

In response to the devastating fires in the North Bay, more than 90 Bay Area business and community leaders joined forces for the Band Together Bay Area benefit concerts to support long-term recovery and rebuilding. The two concerts raised more than $20 million to benefit the Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund and support low-income and vulnerable populations affected by the fires.

If your organization is interested in supporting this effort, please email info@bandtogetherbayarea.org.

Across the North Bay, the fires have stretched already limited resources thin, threatening long-term wellbeing. Proceeds from Band Together will support organizations like Santa Rosa Community Health, which provides primary healthcare and health education to underserved individuals and families regardless of their ability to pay. The fires destroyed Santa Rosa Community Health's largest facility, the Vista Campus, leaving 24,000 patients without access to care. To date, the Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund has deployed over $8 million in grants to community partners working on the front lines to help those hit hardest by the fires, including Santa Rosa Community Health. The first phase of funding is focused on addressing urgent needs. The second and third phases of funding will support rebuilding and re-housing efforts, with all funds committed by December 2018. Tipping Point Community screens non-profits rigorously to identify and invest in the most effective organizations helping Bay Area individuals and families break the cycle of poverty. Since 2005, Tipping Point has raised more than $150 million and helped put 23,000 people on the path out of poverty in the last year alone.
